Springbok Tour Protest By Pippa

Fighting why so much fighting. In 1981 the Springbok tour coursed rite in New Zealand in literally split the country in a half one side didn’t care that people didn’t get to play because of their colour. Then there were the protesters, they wanted to let everyone play even the coloured people that had to sit on the bench when they played the Springbok. Think how you would feel if you had to sit on the bench the whole game just because the springbok didn’t want to play coloured people. If you were easily the best person in the team and you had to sit on the bench because the springbok didn’t want to play you because of your colour how would you feel. In South Africa, they were killing the coloured people in the street because they only wanted one colour in there country and that was the government. 150,000 people protested. TBC...
