The referee can’t always make the best decision especially when there is no one to help them make that decision. Don’t yell at the ref they’re doing the best they can!

Refs can’t always get it right because if they could then they could see everything and that would just be creepy, but I am going to tell you an example as to why the refs can’t always be right. My class and I watched a video of the soccer world cup in the 1900, here's what happened. The goalie came charging at the german who was about to score the goal he shoots he misses but the goalie was still charging because he was in mid air just next to the german and he moved his shoulder and BOOM! The german was on the ground without three of his teeth and the referee said it was a goalie’s kick when the german was stretchered of the field and that was the final in the world cup. It wasn’t entirely the referees fault because he couldn’t see what actually happened, that’s why they needed TMO. (When you’re finished reading this search up referees best calls in the world)

I have had many experiences when the ref has made the wrong call like when I was playing netball and someone had a clear step and they said play on.  In hockey I was taking a free pass and someone took it of me and I hadn’t even touched the ball, again play on says the ref. I have had many experiences on when the ref made a bad call and those are only to but I don’t yell at the ref.

You always have to respect the referees because they can’t always make the right decision that’s why they need like TMO in like Super rugby and in big cricket games but you can’t have it in club stuff so they are doing the best they can. My brother referees basketball and is quite good at it but there are people yelling and shaking there head because he might have made a little mistake, it doesn’t matter it’s just a game.

In conclusion I think that you shouldn’t give the referees a hard time because they made a little mistake after all the refs can’t always be right!

Rotation writing

Boom, Clash, Bang the sound to my day. You may be wondering why that the sound to my day well right now I'm in War where we are flying spitfires and dodging bullets, I'm Wing Commander and I'm in charge but really wish I wasn't given this job anyway I  woke up in the amazing, colourful, wonderful Snaztopia! There was a barking green chicken yelling at me to get up. "Bork get out of bed, bork get out of bed, bork get out of bed, bork get out of bed you lazy slob " " Be quiet Mr Chicken" I yelled furiously at him, but instead of having breakfast like I usually do I ran outside still naked from sleeping in the shower and look over at the mountains and see bombs and planes, wait instead of being in Snaztopia like I wish I was I'm in London for the war. I need to get out of here before I get trapped by wreckedge

Hollyford Road Opinion

Hollyford road opinion I want the road

Hollyford road is that road just up there can we please go and have a look.

That is what could be happening if the road was built. There could be a law only a scenic road no mines and no cutting down trees, (well something like that anyway.) here is a picture of what you could have a road to. Free photo Mountains Lake Rest Loneliness Jasper National Park ...

The Fiordland National park is the most scenic place in New Zealand don't you want to show that off?

Why wouldn’t you want to show off all of this beautiful nature oh because someone could come and cut down the trees or start a mine but actually they would only build a few hotels in the millford sound.

This was for social studies and I was put on the side that wanted to build the road.

Social Studies By Pippa

Secret Agent

The stupid rainbow warrior always getting in the way of our nuclear test is just not done.

The reason France and there secret agents wanted to test nuclear bombs is because at that time there was a threat of a nuclear war and they wanted to be safe from want could have been a nuclear war and they wanted to be a threat to the rest of the world.

After the bombing the two bombers were captured and sentenced to 10 years in prison, but only spent 2 years in prison because the french government negotiated with the nz government and came to a compromise that the two bombers could finish there sentence in France.

Ever since the nuclear bombing of the rainbow warrior New Zealand has made a that anyone who comes into New Zealand has to escorted out of the country by the New Zealand Navy.

The bomb went of just before midnight on the 10th of July. There were 2 explosions that made the rainbow sink at the marsden wharf in Auckland.
A Portuguese crew member, Fernando Pereira was killed in the explosion. The two people who went to prison were Dominique Prieur and Alain Mafart. They went to prison for manslaughter. The were arrested on the 24th of July. They were charged for Murder but pleaded guilty to manslaughter.

This was the French point of view I was put onto for social studies.

Springbok Tour Protest By Pippa

Protester

Fighting why so much fighting. In 1981 the Springbok tour coursed rite in New Zealand in literally split the country in a half one side didn’t care that people didn’t get to play because of their colour. Then there were the protesters, they wanted to let everyone play even the coloured people that had to sit on the bench when they played the Springbok. Think how you would feel if you had to sit on the bench the whole game just because the springbok didn’t want to play coloured people. If you were easily the best person in the team and you had to sit on the bench because the springbok didn’t want to play you because of your colour how would you feel. In South Africa, they were killing the coloured people in the street because they only wanted one colour in there country and that was the government. 150,000 people protested. TBC...

Pike River Mine Fight

Pike River exploded in 2010 and from there on solid energy have not let the people in to get people out. It has been in the local newspaper about the everyone who has lost a family member trying to get there Sibling or Child out. They have been to parliament before and are going again soon.  Solid energy tried to go has quick as possible when the mine was still going. 29 miners died in the explosion. 2 miners were close to the the exit and and were able to exit safely. On the fourth explosion it started a fire which you could see coming out of the mine. After the first explosion a rescue team came but didn’t risk going in because of the risk of more explosions. Throughout 2011 the families were asking for the bodies of the 29 miners they have been asking for 6 years now and solid energy's answer has always been no but the families will keep fighting until the answer is yes. Some of the people who tested the mine said it hadn’t been done properly and the mine was unsafe. The mine was opened in 2008 and lasted 2 years so it would be whole different story if the mine hadn’t opened in the first place and that means I wouldn’t be writing about this right now.
